Basic Popovers
1.25 cup flour (type?) 1/4 tsp salt 2 eggs 1 cup milk 1 tsp sugar
- Makes 8-10 popovers.
Sif and measure flour with salt and sugar. Gradually add milk added to well-beaten eggs. Beat until very light. Pre-heat and oil/butter muffin pans. Half-fill muffin receptacles and bake in 450F oven for 20 minutes, lower temp to 350 and bake for 25-20 more minutes.
Serve with butter.
