A lonely band who seek to preserve The Thanksgiving against the swelling Solstmas tide.

Speech On The Field Of Turkeys

I believe that we must hold the line on Solstmas.

Let others huddle before their hearths, fearful of the Thanksgiving. We stand strong before it!

"THIS IS NOT SOLSTMAS!" we shout, mighty in thew and bone. Let many Winters age us, let time wither our strength, but our resolve shall never wither!

There is a wall between Thanksgiving and Solstmas. And that wall has to be guarded. You have the luxury of blurring the difference between the two, but the people on that wall do not. Their existence, while grotesque and intolerable to you, saves the meaning of Solstmas. Deep down in place you don't talk about at parties, you want them on that wall, you *need* them on that wall. They use words like "egg nog", "gifts", and "cheer". They use those words as the backbone of a life spent defending something.

You use them as a punchline.

The Thanksgiving Song

(Sung to the tune of "The Thanksgiving Song")

Oh the weather outside is ... THANKSGIVING.
And the fire's so ... THANKSGIVING.
And we have no particular place to ... THANKSGIVING.
SO LET IT THANKSGIVING THANKSGIVING THANKSGIVING.
